- What is the PCFL?
- PCFL stands for the Pretoria Centurion Football League, a high school football league for schools in Pretoria and Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. It is operated by Global Media Lab and runs age-group competitions for U14, U15, Second Team and First Team.
- Which schools play in the Pretoria Centurion Football League?
- 10 high schools are competing in the 2026 season. The full list, with each school's divisions, fixtures and results, is published on the PCFL schools page.
- What age groups does the PCFL run?
- The league runs four divisions: U14, U15, Second Team and First Team. Each division has its own log, fixtures, results and top-scorer leaderboard.
- How is the PCFL log decided?
- Teams are ranked in this order: Points — 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a defeat. Goal difference — goals scored minus goals conceded. Goals scored — the higher total ranks first. Head-to-head points in the matches between the tied teams. Head-to-head goal difference, then away goals in those fixtures. Fair play — fewest disciplinary points (yellow = 1, red = 3).
- How do schools qualify for Homecoming Playoffs 26?
- Each division plays a league phase; the top four schools on the final log advance to Homecoming Playoffs 26 — semi-finals followed by a final. Qualification status is calculated live from the official log, the remaining fixtures and the league tiebreakers.
- What happens when a team forfeits a PCFL match?
- A forfeited fixture is awarded 3–0 to the opposing school by league decision. The original on-field score, where one exists, is recorded for reference only and does not count towards the official standings or player statistics.
- Where can I find PCFL fixtures and results?
- Fixtures and results are published on this site and updated as approved match reports come in. 150 fixtures are scheduled for the 2026 season and 297 matches have been recorded across all PCFL seasons (2024, 2025, 2026).
- Is the PCFL free to follow?
